    Hi there

Would appreciate advice on the most straight forward means to travel Lucerne – Lauterbrunner – Lucerne via public transportation for a day exercusion …. for its breathtaking falls i.e. Staubbach Falls and Trummelbach Falls. Is there a link where we could check out the schedules and prices? Thanking you in advance. Cheers!

    Hi Judy,

You can find the train schedules on the timetable link here. The trip is about 2.5 hours with one train change in Interlaken Ost. From Lauterbrunnen you can have an easy valley walk to Stechelberg (about two hours) and see some amazing waterfalls (including Trummelbach Falls) along the way.

Are you going to have the Swiss Travel Pass on your trip? In that case there are no extra charges for the train trip.
