Getting to Grindelwald from Geneve Airport?

    We plan to go to Grindelwald on 24 feb. We will arrive at Geneve airport and is there any train from Geneve airport to Grindelwald?

    this is our first time to grindelwald. We’ve been to zurich and geneve before, this time around we plan to stay at the village town area..

    You can definitely take a train to Grindelwald…but there are no direct trains if that is what you mean. It’ll take at least 4 hours with 2 train connections – use the Swiss railways timetable to plan your trip.

    If you want to follow the very scenic Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass) you will need to search via Montreux and Zweisimmen. But that route will take over 5 hours.

    We have just come back from Wengen and took the train from Geneva airport. Changing at Bern then Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen . Took about 4 hrs and the trains were always on time.
