Hi Snofkenn,
The answer to your first question can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/hi king/bachsee. As for your second question: there are several sport shops in the main street of Grindelwald, e.g. Kaufmann Sport at Dorfstrasse 124. I am not sure what exactly they offer for rent (they focus on the ski season), so you would need to check with them.

Hi Snofkenn,
Grosse Scheidegg can be reached by bus, please see the timetable: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable. When will you be there? In winter there’s no bus as everything is snow covered. The cable car from Grindelwald to First operates though, and from there the trail explained in my previous link is accessible as that’s a prepared winter trail.

Hi Snofkenn,
You’ll have lots of extra time if those are your only plans until Jan 6.
Eigergletscher is on the route to Jungfraujoch so that would be on the same trip. Grindelwald Grund isn’t really a destination as it is where you get the Gondola to Männlichen.
Schilthorn (Piz Gloria) isn’t that hard to read from Grindelwald – just a valley over. https://www.myswi ssalps.com/schilthorn
From the train station to the mountain top is about 1.5 hours. http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable
