Hi , would like to know if you guys have an option by just buying a one way train ticket etc from EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg to Basel itself or even Basel Sbb as an example in Netherlands you can buy a normal train ticket from Amsterdam to Rotterdam or even purchase basic OV chip card and load €20 on and use it for busses /trans/trains .Since I’m a au pair and are traveling on small budget for traveling I need the best option since I would really love to go to Basel

For a short trip like you mentioned, you can purchase a point-to-point ticket. You can check the train schedules using the SBB timetable. More info in the following links:

As rockoyster has said the easiest way to get to Basel is by the bus from the airport. When we stayed in Basel our hotel issued us with a Basel Guest card that entitled us to travel free on the public transport in the city. http://www.basel.com/en/Basel Card. Your hotel/airbnb reservation confirmation acts a free ticket for transportation from the airport to your accommodation.

That’s right. If you are coming from the Euro Airport, the easiest way to get to Basel SBB is by bus No.50!
