Prior to our 15-Day Swiss Travel Pass in Switzerland (Sept. 15-29), my wife and I will be in Austria for 6 days (Sept. 9-14). Unfortunately they don’t have a 6-day pass that makes economic sense for us. So, I plan to purchase point-to-point “sparscheine” tickets from Vienna to Salzburg and from Salzburg to Innsbruck. My options for the morning of Sept. 15, when we leave Innsbruck and travel to Zurich are:

    a) purchase a 19 euro “sparschiene” ticket from Innsbruck to Zurich or

    b) purchase a 9 euro “sparschiene” ticket from Innsbruck to Buchs SG and continue on to Zurich using our 15-Day Swiss Travel Pass.

My question is: Does anyone have any other ideas or is Option B make the most sense to you?

    Thank You for your replies.
