I need help figuring out the best way to get to Jungfraujoch from Grindelwald (Round Trip) on Monday September 25, 2017 and from Unterseen to Zermatt (Round Trip) on Wednesday September 27, 2017. We will have a rental car, but I’m not sure which train passes to pair with that. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi Swilsted and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Whether you buy a rail pass will depend on how much travel you will do on your trip. If it is only these two trips it may not be worth the cost.

From Grindelwald you will travel to Kleine Scheidegg and then to the top of Jungfraujoch (all by train). You can find out more about getting to Jungfraujoch here and ticket prices here.

From Unterseen you can drive as far as Täsch and then a quick train trip on to Zermatt.

If you are traveling more in the Grindelwald area look at getting the Jungfrau Travel Pass. If not perhaps a Swiss Half Fare Card could work. Otherwise you could just buy point to point tickets.
