We are planning on a European trip in February. Is this recommendable? This is due to the March April holidays slot being taken already at work. I was told it is rainy in Europe Feb and March. I welcome any suggestions, probably May instead? We are trying to avoid lots of tourists.

Hi Djferrer23 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

I can’t speak for all of Europe, but we do have details on best times to visit Switzerland (with small descriptions here). It is a very popular time for skiing in the mountains (which Interlaken is a gateway town for).

September is probably the best month to be able to see and do everything (except ski) and avoid peak summer crowds.
