I will be travelling from Interlaken Ost to Gstaad by train. I will have a Swiss Travel Pass. I looked at the train time table and realised that most of the time the train from Zweisimmen to Gstaad is the PE train which is the Panaromic Express. Is it a must to have a seat reservation on this train or is it only recommended? I understand that seat reservation is a must on Bernina Express and Glacier Express. I hope someone can help me with this question. Thanks.

Hi Jasbir,

this is the Golden Pass and no seat reservation is required, but we recommend it in high season. When are you traveling?

In this case, you do not need a seat reservation for the Golden Pass.
