Traveling fr Wengen To Locarno. Understand more scenic route via Brig & Domodossia but earlier there was info that there was landslide construction repair & you have to take bus on part of final journey. We travel on June 20. Can you inform if this route is open now for train on complete trip. I can’t find info on sbb site.

Yes, the Centovalli route between Domodossola and Locarno is very scenic. Unfortunately a landslide has blocked part of this route. It’s a complicated task to clear the tracks and ensure safety, so there’s no end date for the constructions works yet and I can’t tell whether the route is open again on June 20. As long as the train route is unavailable, there’s a replacement bus service. More information can be found at myswissalps.com/forum/ topic/landslide-locarno-to-domodossola.
