Interlaken to Venice with Swiss Travel Pass

    Hi,

    We will be travelling from Interlaken to Venice in late April. Which route should we take to make the best use of Swiss Travel Pass? Interlaken to Brig or Interlaken to Domodossola, then book another ticket on Trenitalia to Venice? Is one route more scenic than the other?

    Hello starrysky and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

    From Interlaken you will go through Brig on your way to Domodossola which is where the Swiss border is. You will need an Italian ticket from there but should be able to stay on the same train.

    Go to Domodossola via Kandersteg for the best scenery. You will go through Brig but the faster route via Visp goes through a long tunnel so not much to see.
