    Hi all,

I just realized that Pilatus is no longer free to travel with Swiss travel pass, hence we decide to change to visit Stanserhorn for one of our stay in Luzern. However, I noticed that Stanserhorn will be closed in the winter from mid of November to Mid April (depending on the weather) May I know when will it be open in April? As we will be staying in Luzern for 2 nights on 14-April-2018 & 15-April-2018.

Please kindly advise me, if not we need to plan other option.

    Thanks.

    Warmest Regards, Thomas Tong

    Hello Thomas,

You are in luck. Stanserhorn re-opens 14 April. http://www.stanserhorn.ch/en/

    Hi Rockoyster,

    Thank you for your reply.

As we have already purchased our 15 days swiss travel pass. So the travel fare to Stanserhorn will be free but we still need to book the Boarding Pass Skyride to Mt. Stanserhorn, which cost CHF$ 5 per person? Am i right?

The Boarding Pass is just if you want to make a reservation for a particular trip I think. shop.stanserhorn.ch/pd f/FAQ_en.pdf

April is not likely to be too busy I would say.
