“Redeemable for a trial half-fare for 2 months

for the price of 33 francs. Redeem this coupon from 24.3. to 5.5.2018 at a public transport outlet. Bring an official ID with you. Within this time, you can choose the first day of validity.”

As translated by Google seems appealing.

    Hi Rockoyster –

Good detective work. A good deal, indeed. Useful only until May 5th., I note

Out of curiousity, I serched for “Schnupper-Halbtax” on the SBB website.

I asked earlier how much you were charging for the vouchers. You didn’t reply.

    Hi Rubmat,

I am interested in the vouchers too, but your contact has been removed. How can I contact you for details, please.

    Hi everyone,

There was a promotion like the one discussed here last year for a limited amount of time, geared to Swiss residents but I believe available for tourists too. I don’t know about this year.

@Rubmat: if you have a link to a credible website with more information then please post that link. However note that the forum rules ask participants not to advertise or post e-mail addresses. We very occasionally forward e-mail addreses to other users on request but that does not apply in this situation. Answers like “very little” on questions about prices make me feel suspicious about the offer to be honest.

If there is a promotion, could someone please post a link to it? I have searched all over and find no information about a “voucher” or discounted half fare card…except for the expired information from last year and again in 2013. Also, if it does indeed exist, would it be prudent to wait until I get to Switzerland to try to purchase such a thing, then, if its not available I could purchse the half fare card? Or does the half fare card have to be purchased from home/online?

    Hi Drsjw,

Currently there is no promotion that we know of. Promotions can always be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard/promot ions. Purchase options are listed here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard/price. As you can see on that page you can buy in Switzerland or online and print the card at home (recommended). Buying online is slightly cheaper.

    Enjoy your trip!

    Hi Slowpoke

I don’t know exactly what is your problem with this offer, but its a fact that there is a such a voucher (even i didn’t write how much i ask for it), someone from this conversation contacted me already by email and i send him an expired one for an example, i am selling it online too, i have 100% positive feedback on it,

I wrote “very little” because it depends how much and…

following is a link were you can buy it online, but you need to be registered in Switzerland to be able to place an order on this site

    kind regards

    Rubmat
