If you have a Jungfrau Travel Pass for the whole of your holiday except the linking journeys, it will probably not be worthwhile getting any of the other travel passes or half fare card (although you could do some calculations yourself to work out if that is the case).
Milano – Spiez:
You enter Swiss ticket territory at the Italian border station of Domodossola. You could in theory get a discounted fare with the half fare card (but you have to purchase the half fare card first) so the most efficient solution will probably be for you to get a global fare long distance ticket from Milan to Spiez (there are one or two direct Eurocity trains each day
Basel – Paris:
This journey is completely outside Switzerland so you need to buy a French ticket from Basel to Paris, OR as per above, get a through ticket from Spiez on TGV Lyria valid for a Swiss train Spiez – Basel and the TGV Basel – Paris. Have a look at the options on the TGV Lyria website
To link Spiez – Basel, either do what I have just suggested or stump up for a normal price point to point fare (it is not a very long distance journey)
One other option is to buy an Inter Rail or Eurail Global Pass valid for the whole of Europe

Hi Debk,
You’ll find useful information regarding your trip to France and coming from Italy: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france and http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/italy. These pages will help you how to get the best train ticket for these trips.
You can buy your French train ticket here: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/france/price and your Italian train ticket here: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/italy/price.
You can have a look also at the Saver Day Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/saverdaypass) for the days you are coming from Italy and traveling to France. They might be cheaper than the point-to-point tickets. Note, that the Saver Day Pass is valid only in Switzerland, so you still need to buy the train ticket for the Italian and French part of your trips.
Regarding the Saver Day Passes, they are usually cheaper if you buy them well in advance: http://www.myswissalps.com/saverdaypass/price.
If you would lke to calculate your options, please feel free to use our calculation spreadsheet: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/chooserailpass.
The Eurail Global Pass might be also a good solution: http://www.myswissalps.com/eurailglobalpass.
I hope this helps,
Ildiko
