Hi I will be travelling from Venice to Zurich on 23 rd september. Can I buy I ticket from venice to a border town in switzerland as I want to use my swiss travel pass also for this route.

    I have few questions:

    1) upto which station I should buy ticket from which I can use my swiss pass.

    2) If I need to get down at that station.Or I can remain in the train.

    3) Do I need to validate my swiss pass from the border town.

    thanks

    Hi Mansi, welcome to MySwissAlps!

    1) That would be Chiasso. The Swiss Travel Pass validity maps shows details like that: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity. For tickets, please see http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/italy.

    2) There is no need to get off the train.

    3) Swiss Travel Passes are valid as soon as you’ve printed them. There’s nothing else you need to do. Please find purchase options here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price
