    Hi everyone,

We are going to the Interlaken area for a couple of days on May 20-21. We haven’t decided what we want to do for sure, but here’s what we’ve thought about so far: Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, First Flieger.

Our issue is that we are on a budget so depending on what we want to see for sure, we might or might not need to book some tickets. As such, here are some questions:

    1) What weather to expect at those three points of interest during this time of the year?

    2) Are the trains/cable cars to the points of interest above usually full and do we need to prebook our tickets or can we just go there? We are afraid of prebooking in case the weather doesn’t cooperate.

    3) When the weather at say Schilthorn is bad, will it be bad First Fliegrer/Jungfraujoch as well?

Thanks a lot everyone and I’m really looking forward to visiting Switzerland.

Hi kitoff, and welcome to MySwissAlps,

    1. Have a look on our webpages on weather forecast (http://www.myswissalps.com/we ather/forecast) and best time to visit Switzerland (http://www.myswissalps.com/be sttimetovisit).
    2. No need to prebook tickets. Trains/cable card won’t be full.
    3. No, not always. If you’re planning to go up on any mountain we advise to check the weather the evening before and in the morning. If you google you will find some webcams as well and often the hotel can help you too.
