    Itinerary advise please

Hi ,we are a couple of late forties & we love beautiful landscapes & places , slightly into hiking but not too much into skiing, Below is my itinerary for coming September in a very raw form , please critically evaluate it regarding its feasibility & doablity and please advise if any changes are to be made. Secondly we want to cut 2 days from this itinerary so please advise from which place these days should be reduced. Thank you very much in advance for your time & advice.

Day 1 Flight to Zurich arrival in the late evening & proceed to Lucern

day 2 : Do Lucern lake cruise (boat trip from luzern to Weggis or Vitznau & other must see places in lucern

day 3: Go to mt titlis,

    day 4: to mt rigi,

    day 5: to mt Pilatus

    Day 5 : proceed to Lauterbrunnen/ Wengen/Grindelwald/

day 6 : Jungfraujoch, Wengen, Lauterbrunnen and Grindlewald in a day.

    By following the following advice

“There are two routes, either via Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg or via Grindelwald to Kleine Scheidegg and then to Jungfraujoch. There is nothing between them. Many people go up one way and down the other.

There are two ways to get to the Jungfraujoch. All travel is by train.

Interlaken Ost – train to Lauterbrunnen – train to Kleine Scheidegg with a stop in Wengen- train to Jungfrau

Interlaken Ost – train to Grindelwald – train to Kleine Scheidegg – train to Jungfrau”

Day 7 Interlaken Ost – train to Lauterbrunnen – bus to Stechelberg – two cable cars to Mürren – two cable cars to Schilthorn

Interlaken Ost – train to Lauterbrunnen – cable car to Grütschalp – train to Mürren – two cable cars to Shilthorn

    Day 8

Interlaken to spiez to thun to bern to Zyteglogge

Day 9 At leisure or fill in if something is left out in the previous 3 days

Day 10 take golden pass train to montreux, one night stay in Vevey or montreux & with a visit to Lake Geneva

(Section 2: Interlaken Ost to Zweisimmen &Zweisimmen to Montreux)

Day 11 travel to Zermatt and Kandersteg, spend 2 days

Day 13 take train from brig (switzerland) to domodossola (italy) & back to locarno/lugano

spend 2 days stay 2 overnight locarno/lugano , proceed to Ticino, Bellinzona & then to lake como

Day 15 spend 2 days in Lake Como & Bellagio & then Back to Lugano

Day 17 Take train from Lugano to chur & then go to Poschiavo valley, stay overnight &

Day 18 then back to chur, explore chur for few hours & then to Zurich in the late afternoon , travel to & back from Rhine Falls enjoy the Zurich nightlife

Day 19 Zurich last day, go to veg restaurant, chocolate tour, zurich lake , old town walking tour spent half day in Zurich , take flight back home

Sounds like a full trip! Two comments:

–re: your Days 2 and 4 You can combine the two by going to Rigi Kaltbad via cable from Weggis or to Kulm fromVitznau

–re: Day 19 hope the vegetarian restaurant you’re referring to is Hiltl ! It is fabulous.
