Hi! My family of 7 are planning to travel from Interlaken to Geneva via Golden Pass Route in early May.

Along the way we plan to do a Bollywood tour of Zweisimmen, Gstaad and Saanen while also checking out the Chateau de Chillion in Montreux.

Could someone please help me with an appropriate itinerary?

We can leave Interlaken as early as 9:00am

Also, are there luggage lockers available in Zweisimmen, Gstaad and Saanen?

You can plan your trip using the Swiss Timetable:

    http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable

Use advanced search to put Zweisimmen, Gstaad and Saanen in the via fields, and also put in how much time you wish to spend at each stop.

If you left Interlaken Ost at 9:08, and spent 2 hours at each of Zweisimmen, Gstaad and Saanen, you would arrive in Montreux at 18:13. Last entry to Chillon Castle is at 18:00 in May, so if you wanted to see inside Chillon Castle on the same day, you would need to reduce the number of stops, or time spent at each stop, on the way.

Something else to note is that, due to construction work on the Golden Pass line until 1 Jun 2018, there will be substitute buses for the sector between Château-d’Oex and Montbovon (a stretch of about 10km, 15 minutes).

You can check the availability of lockers at railway stations here:

    http://www.sbb.ch/en/station-services/railway-stations.html

Expand the heading Equipment and mobility at the station for your selected stations.
