Hi

Wanted your advice . Will be in Montreux from 2 july for 4 days .
Can you please suggest an itinerary in and around Montreux.

Our interest is also in taking a day trip to Gstaad and Lausanne and one day a trip to vineyards and also take the glacier express.

Is it better to stay in montreux or make our base in Vevey area.Our main attraction to stay in Montreux is also the Jazz festival that will be happening there.

The Glacier Express does not begin or end anywhere near Montreux. Where were you thinking of joining it?

Either would be OK. If you have not yet booked accommodation in Montreux during the dates of the Jazz Festival, you might have to look further afield to get something that meets your preferences, especially in regards to price.
