We are staying in Interlaken in the middle of June and want to go up the Jungfraujoch.

The most economical way is to buy a good morning tickets for 135 CHF. With this ticket you have to leave Jungfraujoch by 13.13. My question is can we break up the trip on the way down to visit Wengen or do have to return directly to Lauterbrunnen.

    Welcome to MySwissAlps, robint8001!

As long as you leave Jungfraujoch in time I don’t think it’s a problem to break your journey in Wengen. If you want to make 100% sure, just ask for the details when buying your Good Morning ticket.

Note that a rail pass provides better discounts and will be a more economical solution if you plan to make more trips from Interlaken. How to tell which pass matches your plans is explained at myswissalps.com/train/ ticketspasses/practica l/chooserailpass.
