    Hi Ginahalomoan,

Currently there are no online retailers for your country Indonesia that offer the discount for the Jungfrau Travel Pass for Swiss Half Fare Card holders…that I am aware of.

Even Viator only offers to email you a voucher to exchange at the rail station (no discount); so it is best to buy the Jungfrau Travel Pass at a rail office in Switzerland when you are there.

    Hi Lucas

Thanks! So I can get the 25% disc. at Switzerland rail office? Can I get the Jungfrau pass at Zurich train station? I will arrive at Zurich and head to Wengen.

    Thanks

    Hi Gina,

You can only buy it at rail stations in the Jungfrau region. So you can buy it at Interlaken Ost (you’ll change trains there anyway).

May I ask a similar question as I’ve a trip just like Gina:)

11 days in Swiss – 7 nights in Wengen followed by three nights in Luzern. Already bought 1/2 fare card online. Planned to buy single one way ticket to wengen upon arrival at Zurich on day 1 and start using 6-day Jungfrau pass for day 2-7 and then buy one way ticket to Lucerne.

Whats the pros & cons buying the Jungfrau pass on line or physically at Interlaken OST? I tried but didn’t find any similar pass for 3 nights in Lucerne, I isn’t there anything like this?

    Thanks.

    Hi Jackeytsue,

Buying online (currently with Viator here) gets you a voucher which you have to exchange at Interlaken Ost train station for the actual Jungfrau Travel Pass. So very similar experiences.

There is a Tell Pass for the Lucerne area that could work – check out the coverage area here.

On day 7 if your Jungfrau pass is still valid ,you will need a point to point ticket only from Interlaken OST to Zürich. The section from Wengen to Interlaken Ost is covered by the Jungfrau pass.

We have used the Half Fare card for our Jungfrau Pass several times. We order the Half Fare card before leaving home, and purchase the Jungfrau Pass when we arrive in the Berner Oberland Area. We just show the Half Fare Card and receive the discount. We’ve never had a problem getting the discount.
