    Dear Forum.

I have bought a Jungfrau Regional Pass today through the HappyRail.com link on your website.

The only problem is that they can’t issue me with a e-ticket. They can post it to me in the UK, but it will cost 35 Euros with Express Post (we are leaving for Switzerland this Saturday, that’s why Express Post).

Is it possible to buy the Jungfrau Regional Pass in Switzerland on the day that we arrive (without paying more) ?

I will appreciate your answer tremendously.

    Doc Phil.

    Hi Doc Phil,

Normally shipping is free with HappyRail, but indeed express shipping isn’t. Free shipping takes 2 to 6 days to the UK, but also to any address in Switzerland like your hotel (that might be another option for you). You’ll find all purchase options listed at http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfrautravelpass/price, including local purchase. In this case the price is the same (in CHF).

Have fun in the Jungfrau region!

    Hi Arno.

Many thanks for your quick response ! I appreciate it !

I have asked HappyRail.com if it will be possible for them to send our passes to our Hotel in Switzerland.

I will let you know as soon as I hear from them.

We are really looking forward to spend some time in the Jungfrau region.

    Kind regards.

    Doc Phil.

    Hi Arno.

    Just another question or two:

At which venues in Switzerland can you buy a Jungfrau Regional Pass ?

Is it possible to buy it on the same day that you are going to use it ?

    Many thanks !

    Doc Phil.

    Hi Doc Phil,

That’s explained in the link I gave you (the last option listed).

Buying for the same day is no problem.

Be sure to use the exact pass name when buying: Jungfrau Travel Pass. Otherwise they may think you want the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland, which includes the same region.

    Hi Arno.

I have decided to rather buy the Jungfrau Travel Pass in Switzerland.

Is this pass for sale at any SBB office ?

    Many thanks for your answer.

    Hi Doc Phil,

You can definitely purchase it in the region (see the link in my first post). That’s not necessarily at an SBB office as they don’t operate trains there. Any regional staffed train station during opening hours should be fine.
