    Hello,

I was looking to finalize my reservation for Jungfraujoch during 1st week of May.

As we don’t have choice of dates so I have 2 day fixed for it irrespective of weather condition

Is there a chance that it is closed in 1st week of May due to weather?

I have Swiss Travel Card which I guess helps with 25% discount . So what advance booking I should be looking forward to?

I will be staying in Grindelwald for this trip to Jungfraujoch

Any suggestions on this is highly appreciated

    Regards

    Hajreet

    Hello Harjeet,

Buy a ticket at Grindelwald station on the day you go or no sooner than the day before so you have a good idea of the the weather will be doing. It is extremely unlikely the train to Jungfraujoch will not be running but there is really no point in buying tickets further out from your travel date.

You can pay extra for a reservation but on 1 May probably not necessary. An explanation of how reservations work can be found at bit.ly/2JQKKSh.

    Hello Harjeet,

In addition to Rockoysters information please find the online purchase options below, should you want to book in advance, or online upon arrival:

As said, the chance practically inexistant that the trains won’t be running.

I would say, don’t worry to much about that trip, just look forward to it. And keep an eye on the weather using this link:
