    Hi again!

Planning to visit Jungfrau from Interlaken West with my husband and two children below 16yrs of age. We are taking an 8 days Swiss Pass.

I checked SBB timetable which shows a regular adult ticket price of 92 CHF from Grindelwald to Jungfrau one way. It gives an option of Half-fare card but no option of Swiss Pass! I also checked jungfrau.ch which shows an adult price of 133 CHF for an adult Swisspass holder for a Jungfraujoch ticket connecting ticket from Grindelwald and to Wengen.

Could you advise the correct pricing. We would like to go up to Jungfrau via Grindelwald and come down via Wengen.

This forum is a fantastic source of help in organising the trip myself! I haven’t come across such a resourceful website as yours for many other tourist destination! Great job! and thanks again!

    Hi mistybabu,

The SBB timetable indeed shows CHF 92 for a one way ticket and CHF 184 for a return ticket. You will get a 25% discount on that with a Swiss Travel Pass (it’s no longer called Swiss Pass), and you can purchase that ticket locally. So the price is CHF 138.

The page http://www.jungfrau.ch/en/tou rism/travel-information/tickets-rates/grindelwald/fare s-for-individual-travellers/ shows the same price. Note that a ticket from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch and back is not the same thing as from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch and to Wengen, so that explains the different price you noticed.

Thanks a lot for your compliments!
