Kandersteg to Lugano by Centovalli line

    A few months ago, the Centrovalli line was interrupted.

    Is it still interrupted? Can I travel between Kandersteg and Lugano through Domissolo, or is there a bus connection?

    appreciate any update anyone has.

    Hi Dedscocer,

    The Centovalli train service is operating as usual. So yes, you can travel from Kandersteg to Lugano via Domodossola without any interruption. You can use the timetable to check for suitable connection.

    Thankfully the landslide damage was not as bad as feared and the repairs were carried out quite quickly. The line returned to normal within a few weeks.
