Has anyone stayed at the La Ginabelle in Zermatt? We are planning a trip late August Early September and we are looking for places to stay in Zermatt. We have been looking at La Ginabelle and really like the looks of the Jr Suites in the new building. Wondering if anyone has stayed there and has anyone stayed in the Jr suites? Is this hotel worth staying? Wouks appreciate any help! Thank you.

Hi Cathy ricks,

Welcome to MySwissAlps.

It looks like La Ginabelle is highly rated. The reviews are good. I think it's a wonderful choice and the location is perfect, just walking distance from the Sunnegga-Rothorn funicular.

You can find more hotel options in Zermatt here: www.myswissalps.com/zermatt/hotels

Regards,

Anna

We stayed there 5 years ago so I am not sure how much it may have changed. We found it a lovely place to stay with friendly staff. They even have hiking equipment which they loan if you need it. We were in a room with a balcony which had a great view of the Matterhorn. The pool, spa and restaurant were all very nice, and it was a good location.
