    I have a few questions:

    1) How do we get from Lauterbrunnen to Lake Brienz? Do we take a train from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken Ost and then another train from Interlaken Ost to Brienz? Please clarify.

    2) How long is the boat ride from Brienz to Geissbach falls?

    3) Once at Geissbach falls, how long is the hike up the falls for nice views?

    Thanks!

The Brienz boats depart Interlaken Ost and Brienz. Docks are right next to the stations at both locations. You can go one way by train and one way by boat or whatever suits you.

Interlaken Ost is the junction station between three railways:

the main line SBB railway to Bern via Spiez

The Brunig line to Luzern via Brienz

The BOB (Berner Oberland Bahn) line to Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald

As such if you arrive at Interlaken Ost on any of these and want to depart on one of the other lines you have to change trains.

There is also a boat landing stage from where the boats sail to Brienz and Giessbach
