Hi we are driving to Lake Brienz from UK next year in July staying for 5 nights by the Lake we are going to purchase the 3 day pass for train Boat & bus as we plan to make the most of train and boat views in those 3 days would like any recommendations as to how we could make the most of our 3 day pass on all scenic trips within our locality Eg mountain views etc not really bothered with visiting the cities.

Hi AprilnRich,

The best rail pass for you depends on where in the country you will be exploring from Brienz.
Have a look at these two regional passes as well to see if they will cover your needs (be sure to click the where its valid tab to see a map as well) :

• Jungfrau Travel Pass
• Regional Pass – Bernese Oberland

The Swiss Travel Pass as noted by Alpenrose, would be best if you are planning to explore areas further away from Brienz during your stay, like Zermatt, Geneva, Zurich etc.
