    1. May I buy Lake Geneva regional pass at Geneva train station or Geneva Airport? Can I buy it online and just print this pass to use?

    2. I will stay at Ferny Voltaire. May I use this regional pass for free public transportation from Geneva train station to Ferny Voltaire in my selected free day.

    3. In 50% discount day, May I use to discount single ticket in Geneva (discount from 3 chf to 1.5 chf)

    4. This pass cover all city public transport in Geneva, Vevey, Montreux right? Except Lausanne, cover only metro from train station to Ouchy?

Hi Keng and welcome to MySwissAlps!

You can certainly buy the pass at those stations, however we would recommend you buy it in advance as you can print it easily at home and then you also have a backup copy of your transaction.

You will find all the details of the pass and where to buy it here: http://www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpasslakegeneva

You can certainly use the pass for a 50% discounted ticket in Geneva, however you may want to do more travel than that (for example by boat) to make it worthwhile…

The pass covers all public transport modes of transport, in other words boat, bus and cable car, in the areas indicated in the validity map: http://www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpasslakegeneva/v alidity

    (Lausanne is included)

If you stay in Ferney, please be aware it’s in France so it will not be included: http://www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpasslakegeneva/v alidity

Hope this answers your questions, and all the best for the trip!

    Maria.

Is it actually true that the Pass covers all public transport in Geneve and Lausanne? I’ve never found proof of that. I have never bought one as it has so many annoying restrictions.

    Ferney is a nice place…

But you may have to pay the fare beyond the border at ‘Grand Saconnex Douane’

I find the Lake Geneva regional pass not a particularly good deal.

You might find combining day tickets in the Geneva and Vaud tariff areas better value.

    Hi 1960man

Indeed it is true, as written in the first part under the overview section of the pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/re gionalpasslakegeneva

“About the Regional Pass Lake Geneva – Alps
You can find all details about the Regional Pass Lake Geneva – Alps here. Please review this summary first:
5 or 7 days of traveling by train, boat, bus and cable car in the Lake Geneva region”

Perhaps you should buy one just to try it out! 😉

The Mobilis travelcards are also good value if you travel only in Vaud.

    Maria.
