    Hello there!

I need some assistance once again!

Everyone been actively helping in this forum and I love it!

I am planning to travel to iseltwald and lake thun on either 28/29/30 depending on the weather.

Understand that there is only cruise ride on Lake for the dates that I am visiting..

Could you please help assist me with my itinerary for lake Thun cruise ride as I do not know where the cruise is heading and where should I visit after the cruise ride. As the language is not in English..

    Hi Jacky666!

Do you want to travel in late September? In that case the Lake Thun summer timetable still applies. This means there are lots of cruises each day. Your screenshot is from the autumn timetable. Does that mean you’re looking at late October? In that case, there are still 2 to 3 cruises each day. Note that each piece of information in the timetable screenshot is provided in English too.

You’ll first have to decide where you want to start your cruise. If it’s Thun, then the upper half of your screenshot applies to you. You’ll see there are boats leaving Thun in the direction of Interlaken at 09.40, 11.40 and 14.40 (but that one goes as far as Beatenbucht only). If you want to travel from Interlaken, look at the lower half of the page. Boats are leaving in the direction of Thun at 12.10 and 14.10.

You can make a cruise over the entire lake, and then return by train along the southern side of the lake, or by bus on the northern side of the lake. You can also get out at one of the intermediate boat stops and then return. What to do after your cruise, depends on where and how late you end your tour. Please find some options explained at http://www.myswissalps.com/boatlakethun, and see https://www.myswissalps.com/berneseoberland/activities for a complete overview of excursions.

When planning your journeys, you can also use the Swiss timetable. It even works for boats. Use the “advanced search” functions to find boat connections. How that works is explained at https://www.myswissalps.com/timetable.

Please note that Iseltwald is along Lake Brienz: https://www.myswissalps.com/boatlakebrienz.

    Does this get you started?

The BLS shipping department publishes a clear PDF timetable online:

    http://www.bls.ch/-/media/bls/pdf/fahrplaene/schiff/fahrplan-schifffahrt.pdf?la=de&vs=1

Just look through for the Autumn timetable. There is a different timetable after 24 October
