Hello,

We are leaving for our trip tomorrow. We just got an email from our hotel in Bern that said they are under renovation and have no AC and there will be some inconveniences. Pictures show a mess. We would like to cancel it and find another quickly. Walking distance from the train station and old town and not too expensive.

Sorry to hear about the issue with your hotel. As for the AC, the coming days are forecast to be around 20 degrees Celsius, so don’t worry too much about the temperatures. The mess, of course, is another issue.

I have a couple other questions.

1. Do I need a type C adapter ( 2 prongs) or J (3 prongs) or both?

2. We only have 1 day in Bern, what do you suggest we do for our 1 day?

I’ve only used type J, 3 prong, in Switzerland. Never had any problems.
