Hello to everyone again.

On our recent trip to Switzerland we had managed to accumulate about 8 days of washing and were in need of a laundry service to help us out at Lucerne.

We found an excellent service in Jet Wasch who didn’t even look inside our bag but quoted €18 to do the job. A further €10 and our washed clothing would be delivered to our hotel. The middle aged lady and her assistant are delightful people, both of whom speak limited English and are easy to chat too.

Can you tell me how big your bag of washing was for that price? We’ll be staying in a hotel not far from there so it’ s good to know the name of a place.

Hello Judy,

My wifes’ laundry bag would be 1/2 the size of a standard pillow slip, if that is any help. Because these people do such a good job I wouldn’t be worried about the price.
