Does a Lausanne Hotel confirmation serve as an interim ticket, once inside the coverage area, until you reach the hotel to pick up the transport card included with the booking, (as it does in Bern)?

    Hi Elizabethhof,

    Thank you for joining MySwissAlps.

I have no personal experience with this but I think that may be possible. It’s best to arrange it with the hotel though. Perhaps they can arrange to send you the transport card in advance.

    Regards,

    Anna

    Hi Elizabetthof!

You’ll find a link to details of the Lausanne Transport Card at http://www.myswissalps.com/lausanne/travel. Their website doesn’t clearly state if a booking confirmation serves as a replacement ticket when heading for the hotel, but I suggest you contact Lausanne Tourism to make sure.

Our hotel suggestions for Lausanne are available here: http://www.myswissalps.com/lausanne/hotels.

Thanks, Annika, I’ll contact Lausanne Tourism as you suggest.
