Hi, we plan to visit Mt Blanc from Lausanne on 28 November. Plan to take a train from Lausanne to Martigny then board the Mont-Blanc Express to Chamonix.

But I can only see the Mont-Blanc Express train schedule until 8 September.

Q1. Is the train available in November 28?

Q2. If the Mont-Blanc Express is not available in November, what is the alternative route to reach Chamonix from Lausanne?

So the Mont-Blanc Express is not a direct train to Chamonix?

Do we need to reserve seat for both train?

I’ve just double checked, it is a direct train. It just stops in Vallorcine for a few minutes, there is no need to change trains.

You do not have to buy seat reservations on the Mont Blanc Express.
