On July 2nd we need to be in Basel at 1:30 and are coming from Lauterbrunnen. Is there any particular train route that is suggested?

    Hi cinamocat,

The most direct route is via Interlaken and will take about 2.5 hours. Use the timetable to find the train schedules: https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable

You could travel part of the Golden Pass route if you travel via Interlaken and Lucerne as well (adding 1.5 hours to your trip).

The route out of Lauterbrunnen to the rest of Switzerland is always via Interlaken Ost, where you pick up the Swiss fast train network. Interlaken – Basel is designated as route IC61

the IC trains to Basel depart Interlaken every hour on the hour at .00 (with additional trains at xx.30 past each hour every so often) journey exactly 2 hours

You would need to leave Lauterbrunnen at 10.30 to reach Basel at 12.59
