I will be arriving in late July. I will be staying in Wengen. Does the Swiss Rail Pass cover the full fare for the cogwheel between Lauterbrunnten and Wengen, or do I need to purchase a separate ticket. I am getting mixed responses on the web. Thank you. Keith.

Hi Keith,

If you have a Swiss Travel Pass, you can ride the cogwheel train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen for free.

You can download the Swiss Travel Pass validity map here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity

And on a related note… Sit on the right side of the train for best views. They are amazing!
