    Hi all

We will be using the car train via the Lotschberg tunnel end of August, Goppenstein to Kanderstag.

Would there be any advantage in pre -booking online, or just pay as you drive up? and if you do pay online is the ticket valid for any train on that day (e.g. not restricted to certain times)

    Many thanks

    Hi Desertman,

You typically just show up, buy your ticket and board the train. There is more information on our car-train page here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ca r/cartrains

There is a link on our page above, that brings you to the official site and an option to buy a ticket online, sounds like there is a little savings there.

    It is a turn-up-and-go service
