    Hi All,

    1) During the last week of Nov, will rides to Pilatus be closed? Can I still go to the Pilatus mountain top if I’m staying in Lucerne?

    2) Will boats be operating also to enjoy Lake Lucerne?

    Thank You in Advance!

    welcome to MySwissAlps!

The cogwheel train will not operate after Nov. 18, but the gondola / aerial cableway will be available: http://www.pilatus.ch/en/info rm/timetable/.

For Lake Lucerne boatrides google this:

    Vierwalsldsaettenseedampfschiffahrtaktiengellschaft.

some say that this word is the longest word inthe German language, meaning “Shipping Corporation of the Four Forest Canton Lake”.

    😉

    Hi SwissTravels,

You can find operating dates for most attractions in Switzerland noted here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ac tivities

Click the route tab once you are on the attraction page you are interested in and you’ll see closing dates noted if any. Both Pilatus and Lake Lucerne cruises are available year-round.

I needed to add two spaces to get results for that phrase Snowman, but still it’s quite an overwhelming bit of German 😉

    vierwaldstaettersee dampfschifffahrt aktiengesellschaft
