Staying for 2 nights in Lucerne in April. Wanted to stay at the hotel Schweitzerhof but they have no rooms for one of our nights. What other hotel with good views of the lake and mountains as well as a balcony. It would be nice to be near the train station. Not looking for a budget hotel. Need some good advice.

    Hi Hedvig,

It should be possible to find a place like that. Did you check the suggested hotels at http://www.myswissalps.com/lu cerne/hotels?

If that does not help, please let us know your exact travel dates and the number of people.

I did look at the web site. If you could give more options that would be nice. Two people, April 23 & 24.

    Hi Hedvig,

The only other 5 star that I see with balconies in their standard rooms is the Grand Hotel National Luzern.

It is only a few minutes walk from the Hotel Schweitzerhof.

If you look at 4 star hotels with balconies, have a look at the following:

Thank you so much for your suggestions.
