Is there room for reasonable luggage in the lLausanne to Montreux boat?

    Hi RodgePF,

There are no restrictions on boats or trains in regards to luggage – two pieces of luggage is quite normal to have with you. Unless they are oversized, you may be charged a supplement or asked to make an alternative arrangement, for safety precaution.

If you have more luggage than you can carry, you might want to consider using one of the various luggage services available at the train station. The options are outlined in this page:

    Best regards,

We always have luggage to bring onboard ferries. We just stow them out of the way along a wall where you board without a problem. If you have concerns for their safety just check on them occasionally and when the ferry stops at ports along the way. The scenery is so pleasant I’m usually moving about the ferry often and passing by our luggage in the process.
