After filling out the information for seat reservations, there is a price shown. I have the swiss travel pass which includes the ticket price. Help please, Eileen

    Hi Eileen,

The Swiss Travel Pass covers the ticket cost, but there is a mandatory reservation charge that everyone must pay when taking the Glacier Express.

Thank you, I’ve made the reservations and have another question. We’re taking a train from Zurich HB station to Chur. Does the Glacier Express depart (to Zermatt) from the same station? Thanks for your help, Eileen

Yes, it’s the same station, usually platform 10 (but check the departure boards when you are there).

If you use the SBB (Swiss Railways) timetable to plan your trip, it will tell you what plaform you will arrive on in Chur, and what platform the Glacier Express will depart from. You will need to put “via Chur” into the timetable for the trip from Zürich to Zermatt.
