Hi,

My trip plan this mid May.

1) do you think, if I'm from zermatt go to lugano. Spend one night there. Next day, straight back to zurich. Is it worth it? Because journey almost 6hours train ride.

Please help..

Hello Angel7105,

Is there any specific reason you're planning this trip?! As you say, it would be quite a journey, whereas most probably also quite a scenic one and you could also consider traveling 1st class for more comfort:

Are you trying to add the region of Tessin to the itinerary you've posted in former threads or have your plans changed overall..?!

Best and get back to us anytime for more input,.

Hello Angel7105,

As stated by Rockoyster, it will work, but be a fairly packed itinerary.

Make sure you get familiar with the timetable to figure out details about your planned trips:

Hi Angel,

If I could only do one scenic train ride in Switzerland I would choose the Bernina Express. You will need seat reservations for both the bus from Lugano and the train From Tirano. See www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/seat-reservations-on-the-bernina-express.

You could continue from Chur to Zurich. It would be a long trip but it would give you a whole day free to look around Zurich and maybe the Rheinfall on 23/05.
