Motorway vignette & tolls in Switzerland

    Hi , we will have a rental car in Switzerland. I think (but will check) that the vignette will be included. But what im not sure about is if a vignette covers tolls or do we still pay separately for toll roads? Tried googling but a bit confused. Thanks!

    Hi Kj123,

    If you rent a car in Switzerland, the vignette is usually included. Look for it on the windshield or ask the car renting company.

    The vignette allows you to drive on 99.9% of all roads. Exceptions are listed here (‘Additional tolls on top of the vignette’): http://www.myswissalps.com/motorwayvignette
