Mt. Pilatus cable car ride safe for pregnant lady

I will be travelling to Luzern on 23rd Sep along with my wife who is in 5th month of pregnancy and am considering to take a trip to Mt. Pilatus. I saw the page for Mt. Pilatus in the forum and wanted to know whether the Gondola ride and cable car ride while coming back be safe for her considering her pregnancy? Please help us so that we can plan better.

The altitude of Mount Pilatus is 2119 m. Most people don't notice any effects until about 2500 m. But I agree with Brahms that only your doctor knows what's best as he/she knows about the healthiness of your wife. You'll find further details here: myswissalps.com/ pilatus.

Thanks Brahms, Slowpoke and Arno. Midwife mentions its safe for her with lower heights as 2500 mts. But I also wanted to know whether the cable car and Gondola ride are smooth or can we expect bumps or jerks during that. Can you please advise?

There are no bumps or jerks at all on de Cable car or Gondola whitch are a problem for a pregnant woman.
