I doubt it. Here (attached) is the road sign as you come into Neuhausen on Klettgauerstrasse. Nur auf Deutsch, kein Englisch, kein Französisch. Of course, down where all the tourists are marveling at this wondrous attraction and queuing up to ride one of the boats for a closer look, undoubtedly one will find signs in English.

    >> This apparents are 20 min by bus NFB20.

I thought it might be worth mentioning that you won’t see NFB20 on the destination display of the bus. NFB is an abbreviation for Niederflur-Bus, which means that it is a low-floor bus. Bus 20 from Luzern Bahnhof (Luzern railway station) will have Horw, Technikumstrasse as its destination.

Here (attached) is the schedule for bus number 20, departures from the Lucerne train station using the 24 hour notation. The three columns are for Monday to Friday, Saturday, and Sundays & Holidays.

    This is so very helpful.

For strangers like me from all togather different country, you all try your all very best to provide the best information and make the travel / tour so simple.

Suppose if I do a day tour to Zurich first the city tour and followed by Rehin Fall in the evening. Will it be comfortable or I’ll be stretching out ourselves.

It depends on the tour lengths in the end. A few hours in Zurich and then a few more for the Rheinfalls seems like a good day from Lucerne. 🙂

    Bonsoir Peterli-

Nice picture of Lausanne. It lets you see why the city is built where it is. I never recognized that when I was climbing up and down the hills. ;-). Quite few of the vineyards are visible , too. Perhaps near Grandvaux? Or, closer?

Is the small peninsula on the lake the site of present day Ouchy? I don’t find it on a modern map, so perhaps the shoreline has been altered. And, the tower in the distant background – La Tour de Gourze?

If you search our forums (top right box) for restaurants Luzern or restaurants Interlaken I think you will get quite a few threads with recommendations from others who have asked the same question.

<“Can you suggest good vegetarian Restaurants in Lucerne.”>>

Most Swiss restaurants offer at least some vegetarian food. They will almost always have a menu posted outside, near the entrance door, that you can look at.

I would expect a kitchen to stop taking orders around 10pm in Lucerne, but you need to speak to the particular restaurant. When its’ quiet or a small village, last orders could be at 9 pm.

I’ve never done breakfast in Lucerne, so I can’t help you with that one.

Are you looking for a tour or on your own? It would be a longer day either way.

There is a tour from Zurich, but not sure about any from Lucerne.

I thought that this thread had come to an end, but no, it’s still alive ! Oh well.

My answer to your question << How can I do Black Forest from Lucerne >> is that you don’t do it from Lucerne. Keep in mind that rail service in this part of Germany is not as ubiquitous and frequent as it is in Switzerland. Were you thinking of travel by rail, by bus, or car rental ? Which places in the Black Forest are you interested in seeing ?

I plan to do the Rhein Falls and Black Forest on same day.

Is it doable and is it worth.

The Black Forest is a large area in Germany. I think Peterli was wondering where in the Black Forest you plan to go.

If you don’t know I would suggest then trying to do a guided tour from Zurich – check out the link from my last post.

    Hello,

I asked you << Were you thinking of travel by rail, by bus, or car rental ? Which places in the Black Forest are you interested in seeing ?>> (Bang on, Lucas). and you replied << I plan to do the Rhein Falls and Black Forest on same day >>. So you have not replied at all. All you have done is add another element that makes things even less do-able, especially from Lucerne. Have you checked out the guided tour from Zurich that Lucas has now twice mentioned ? Lucas is right about the size of the Black Forest, it is large, aver 6000 square kilometres.

“I’ll be staying at Swiss Tour Apparent Lucerne, 44 Zihlmattweg, Lucerne”

Is there any lake or any other option where we can enjoy swimming.

My daughter is really fond of swimming in open natural places. If there is any option available close to our place of stay request you to suggest one.
