Hi. I will have a Swiss train pass for my trip. I would like to know how to travel from Mt Rigi to Bern and then back to Lucerne. We will be taking a boat from Lucerne to Mt Rigi and then, I would like to see Bern. Is this possible? Do I have time to do this in a day? Thank you in advance.

Hi Zyla,

If you start early enough and do not plan any significant hikes on Mount Rigi, then this can certainly be done. You’ll find all timing in the timetable: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable.
