Hello,

My wife and I arrive Munich (MUC) early morning April 29 from San Francisco & want to get ourselves into Switzerland late that afternoon / early evening. From there we need to be in Mürren as early as possible Monday.

Can the Forum Subject Matter Experts tell us the best means of travel (plane, train, etc.) to get from Munich into Switzerland and the best Swiss city to spend the night (April 29)?

I would take the train. You can plan your trip by using the Swiss rails timetable. More information about tickets / passes can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr avel/toswitzerland/tra in/tickets.

I can recommend to spend the night in Thun (1h35 from Mürren). Or you just go straight to Mürren which is a nice village too.
