We will purchase the Swiss Travel Pass for our 8-day trip through Switzerland in June 2018. We are leaving Murren for Stresa, Italy. When researching the STP, I think the train travel will be covered to the border, and then we will purchase a point-to-point ticket to Stresa. Is this correct? Thank you!

Correct. The STP will get you to Domodossola. See http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/italy.

Go via Kandersteg if you have time. A very scenic route to Brig.

    Hi Cursino,

Make sure to get the Italian ticket in advance. There is no need to actually get off the train, buy a ticket, and wait for the next train. See Rockoyster’s link for more details.
