    Hi

I’m travelling Switzerland from 22/09/19 to 27/09/19. I booked my hotel in Wilderswil.

I’ll land at Zurich in 22/09 time 07.20 am. From Zurich Airport to Wilderswil I’ll go by train using Swiss Travel Pass.

I planned to travel Thun from Interlaken by boat trip on this day.

23/09 I planned to go Lucerne + Rigi mountain. Morning Lucern city trip, afternoon trip to Vitznau by boat. From Lucerne to Rigi >Weggis >Luzern> Interlaken

24/09 I planned to go Zermatt. I need a suggestion which site I should travel from Zermatt? Gornergrat or Klein Matterhorn? I have Swiss Travel Pass which one would be suitable?

25/09 Morning Jungfrau trip + evening Montreux using Golden Pass Line

    26/09 Lauterbrunnen, Murren + Grindelwald

27/09 Back to Zurich to catch evening flight

So what you think? I can make it? Any suggestion pls inform me.

    thanks

    Hi Anandabiman,

Your Swiss Travel Pass will get you unlimited access to most trains, buses and boats on the Swiss transport network, as well as admission to some 500 museums. I’m sure you’ll have no problem with your itinerary.

Make sure you check out the current promotion related to the Swiss Travel Pass

To answer your question: Gornergrat or Klein Matterhorn. The Swiss Travel Pass entitles you to 50% discount on both. If you wish to get a view of the famous Matterhorn like the image you always see on postcards or travel brochures, then take the mountain train to Gornergrat. The train journey is about half an hour from Zermatt. For more information, go to this link: http://www.myswissalps.com/go rnergrat

But if you want a different perspective or fancy a day in a glacier park, take the cable car to Klein Matterhorn. The overall journey from Zermatt takes about 45 minutes. For more information, go to this link: http://www.myswissalps.com/kl einmatterhorn

There are other activities you can do in Zermatt. Be sure to check this link out too

    Enjoy your trip!
