Hello, I am travelling with my wife & son on 28th May for 6 nights to Switzerland. Going through some websites, I came up with the below itinerary. PLEASE ADVICE if this looks okay or if you have any suggestions. I don’t want to make it very hectic.

    • Day 1 – Reach Zurich (from India); stay the night
    • Day 2 – In the afternoon/evening, Zurich to Interlaken (stay @Interlaken)
    • Day 3 – Interlaken – JUNGFRA – INTERLAKEN
    • Day 4 – Interlaken – Mt. Titlis – Interlaken
    • Day 5 – Interlaken – Lucerne – Interlaken
    • Day 6 – In the afternoon, Interlaken to Zurich
    • Day 7 – Zurich and flight in the night

    Regards,

    -Basabjit

Hi Basbjit and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

Lucerne is 1 hour from Zurich Airport. I would go there for a night or 2 and do Titlis from there rather than traveling back and forth from Interlaken.

Then to Interlaken via first part of Golden Pass Line (http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass).

Instead of Interlaken consider one of the mountain villages like Wengen.

You can easily return from Wengen to Zurich on day 7 if you have a night flight.

Use the Swiss Train Timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable) to plan your travel. If you haven’t used it before it will pay to read the instructions on that page before delving into the timetable.

You should read “How to choose the best travel pass” (http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass).
