1st Day : Reaching Zurich airport from singapore at 6.30 am. (leave luggage in locker. visit zurich(great church) and rhine falls and then Catch a train from zurich station for interlake/lucrene?. reach and rest. overnight interlaken/lucerne?
2nd Day: Mount Pilatus Roundtrip that includes a boat ride on Lake Lucerne/watching the traditional Alplehorn playing/world’s steepest cogheel railway an cable car. overnight interlaken/lucerne?
3rd day- visit mt titlis. or chococlate train/chocolate factory overnight in interlaken/lucerne?
4th day: Visit Jungfrau (pass through Wengen on your way up to the Jungfraujoch). overnight interlaken/lucerne.
5th day: Schilthorn ( pass by Murren on the way up to the Schilthorn). or a day trip to bern. overnight at interlaken/lucerne.
    6th day: lucerne/interlaken- geneva
    – Lake Geneva
    – Lausanne
    – Montreux
    – Chillon (Castle)
    7th day, Geneva – paris
    – louvre
    – river cruise down the Seine or from a view from the Eiffel Tower

    8th day paris
    – Notre Dames.
9th day- paris- sg (noon flight)

Welcome simran! Lucerne is a better location for day 1, 2 and 3; Interlaken is easier for day 4, 5 and 6. So you might spend the first few nights in Lucerne and the other ones in Interlaken. If you do want to stay in one hotel only, your traveling time for some trips will be longer (I’m not sure whether that’s preferable with a baby). You can consult the timetable to see how long your trips would take from both locations. Hotels near the railway station of Lucerne can be found here, centrally located hotels in Interlaken are listed here.

A rail pass will help you to save money. You may want to look into a 3 or 4 day Swiss Saver Flexi Pass. You would use free travel days for day 1, 2, maybe 3, and 6. On the remaining days, you’ll get a 50% discount.

By the way, the chocolate train would be quite far away from both Interlaken and Lucerne. You could visit the (smaller) chocolate demonstration at the open air museum in Ballenberg near Brienz (from Interlaken), or get to Shoggiland in Flawil (from Lucerne).

hi, Simran, am flying to Zurich from Singapore too! (But on 4th June and with my 8 year old).
Maybe we can compare notes since we are both looking at minimal hotel changes.
As of now, am planning to stay 2 nites in Zurich (to get over the jet lag), 5 nites in Wengen and 3 nites in Zurich 🙂

You would be starting your Tour at 6.30 am -7.30 am ??
<<1st Day : Reaching Zurich airport from singapore at 6.30 am. (leave luggage in locker. visit zurich(great church) and rhine falls>>
and after you have done with Zurich , you will be proceeding to Interlaken??

it seems to be a good begining, making good use of every min. in Switzerland.

we too have planned 6 nights in Switzerland, and are looking for itineary like this.

    Hi Pramod,

Can you please open a topic of your own rather than adding to someone else’s topic which is about something else? Please see the forum rules for details. Can you explain a bit about your interests? Would you like to focus on towns, culture, nature, hiking or something else? Do you want to travel or have one base?

    Thank you!
